Rehearsal and Performance Day

Hair

Hair should be secured away from the face in a bun, unless otherwise specified by the instructor. (NO BANGS PLEASE) A fine hair net wrapped around the bun will help hold the hair pins in place.

Costume

Dancers should arrive in FULL COSTUME. Please check with your instructor concerning color tights or socks. (NO JEWELRY ON STAGE) Please be sure that your dancer's name is clearly marked on their costume(s) and shoes.

Make-up

Make-up is required for all dancers. We recommend lipstick in shades of red; blush and eye shadow in natural colors.

Timely arrivals

Dress Rehearsal

It is essential that each dancer be ready to perform promptly due to the tight schedule. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your schedule time. You may leave after ALL your dances have been rehearsed.

Performance Day

All company dancers and students taking multiple classes need to arrive 90 minutes prior to show time. All other dancers are required to arrive at the theater 30 minutes prior to show time.

Food and Drink

Please be respectful to the hosting facilities. No food or drinks (except water) are permitted in the dressing rooms or auditorium.

Photography/Video

Flash photography and video recording of the performances are prohibited. Video of the performances will be available from Widescreen Productions. DVD order forms are available now at the studio and will also be available the day of the show.

Location and Directions

The recital location is Kennesaw Mountain High School. Directions: [starting from Bravo Dance Center] take Stilesboro Road to Kennesaw Due West. Turn left onto Kennesaw Due West. There is a traffic light located at Kennesaw Mountain High School. Turn right into school parking area.
